1. General Use You agree to use our website for lawful purposes only. You must not misuse our website (e.g., by introducing viruses, hacking, or posting offensive material). We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.
2. Products & Handmade Nature

Handmade Variations: Every Mumubear is 100% handmade. This means there may be slight variations in stitch tension, size, or expression compared to the photos. We believe this is the beauty of handmade art—no two bears are exactly alike!

Pattern Credits: We take pride in our craft! Some items are original Mumubears designs, while others are handmade by us using patterns legally purchased from other talented designers. Where a third-party pattern is used, we credit the original artist in the product description.

Color Accuracy: We do our best to display colors accurately, but please note that monitor screens may differ slightly from real life.

Safety Warning: Unless a product is specifically marked as "Baby Safe" (embroidered eyes), our dolls are designed as decorative keepsakes and accessories. They may contain small parts (like plastic safety eyes) that are a choking hazard for children under 3 years old. Please use them responsibly.
3. Digital Crochet Patterns & Intellectual Property

Personal Use License: All digital PDF patterns purchased from Mumubears are for personal use only. You may not copy, alter, translate, share, resell, or distribute the pattern or any part of its content (including photos and text) in any format.

Commercial Use of Finished Items: You are welcome to sell physical items made from Mumubears patterns in small quantities, provided that you credit Mumubears (@mumubears) as the pattern designer in your product listings or social media posts.

Instant Download: Digital patterns are available for instant download immediately after payment confirmation. No physical items will be shipped for pattern purchases.
4. Pricing & Payments

Currency: All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD).

Changes: Prices for our products are subject to change without notice.

Payments: We accept payments securely via Stripe and PayPal. We do not store, access, or retain your credit card details.
5. Shipping & Delivery

Processing Time (Ready-to-Ship): Please allow 3 business days for ready-to-ship items to be packaged and dispatched.

Processing Time (Backorders / Made-to-Order): Items purchased on backorder are hand-crocheted with love after your purchase. Please allow 7–14 business days for the crafting process before shipment.

Liability: Once your parcel has been handed over to Australia Post, Mumubears is not responsible for delays, lost packages, or damage caused during transit. However, we will always do our best to help you track down a missing parcel!

Customs: International buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply.
6. Returns & Refunds

Digital Patterns: Due to the instant, downloadable nature of digital PDF files, all digital pattern sales are strictly final and non-refundable.
- Physical Items (Change of Mind): As a small handmade business, we do not accept returns, refunds, or exchanges for a change of mind. Please choose carefully

Damaged or Faulty Items: If a physical item arrives damaged or faulty, please email us at hello@mumubears.comwithin 48 hours of delivery with photographic evidence. We will arrange a repair, replacement, or refund in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
7. Intellectual Property

All content on this site—including our photography, product descriptions, logo, and brand identity—belongs to Mumubears and is protected by copyright laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or use our photos for commercial purposes without our written permission.

For items made from patterns designed by third parties, the copyright for the pattern design remains with the original artist, while the copyright for the photography and finished physical item belongs to Mumubears.
8. Limitation of Liability To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mumubears shall not be liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from the use or misuse of our products.
9. Governing Law These Terms & Conditions and any separate agreements whereby we provide you services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Victoria, Australia.
