Welcome to Mumubears! My journey with yarn began over 18 years ago, born out of a deep love for traditional Japanese Amigurumi. Although my academic background is in Digital Media Design, my heart has always belonged to tactile, handmade crafts.
Over nearly two decades, I’ve refined my crochet techniques-combining design principles like color harmony and proportions with the warmth of traditional Japanese amigurumi style. What started as a personal passion in Geelong, Victoria, has grown into a dedicated home studio bringing sweet, happy characters to life.
